一、培养目标
本专业适应经济社会发展和女性发展需求,培养德、智、体、美全面协调发展;具有“四自”精神、传统美德、创新意识和实践能力;具有较高的人文素养;掌握英语语言学和文学的基本理论和基本知识,具有熟练的英语语言技能和厚实的英语语言文学专业知识;能熟练运用英语和本族语在外事、教育、经贸、文化等部门从事外事、翻译、教育、管理等工作的应用型高素质女性人才。
二、 培养规格
1.知识要求
(1)掌握马克思主义、毛泽东思想和中国特色社会主义理论体系的基本原理。
(2)系统掌握英语语言学、文学、经济、文化等方面基本理论和基础知识,受到英语听、说、读、写、译等方面的良好的技巧训练。
(3)掌握运用英语和本族语的专业知识。
(4)熟悉我国在外交、外事、教育、经贸、文化交流等方面的方针、政策和法规。
(5)较熟练地掌握一门第二外语,具有听、说、读、写的基础。
(6)掌握管理信息系统相关知识,能熟练运用计算机进行相关管理工作。
(7)具有一定的体育、美育和军事基本知识。
2.能力要求
(1)具有良好的女性修养和较强的语言文字表达能力及人际沟通、合作能力。
(2)具备英语专门人才的基本素质与能力,有较强的现代意识和跨文化意识。
(3)掌握科学的思维方法和研究方法,具有求实创新的精神、专业学科意识和思辨能力。具有独立分析和解决实际问题的能力,以及创造性思维和科学的研究能力。
(4)具有从事教育、翻译、研究、管理工作的业务水平和较好的素质及能力。
(5)具有熟练运用英语与海外人士进行口头语、书面交流及跨文化交际的能力。
(6)掌握科学锻炼身体的基本技能,养成良好的体育锻炼和卫生习惯,具有一定的审美能力,具备健康的身体素质和心理素质。
